I. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
1. Each shipment is of good quality and be stored in accordance with good commercial practice. No live infestation.
2. The cashews shall be packed in new, clean, dry, leak-proof, lead-free containers with an airtight (hermetic) seal and without internal paper liners. Packaging shall be of sufficient strength to assure the integrity of the product during normal shipment and storage.

V. CONTAINER STORAGE / SHELF LIFE
Storage recommendation: Product should be stored in dry place at ambient temperature, RH 50-85%.
Shelf Life: 2 years (24 months) from the date of manufacturing in the plant.
Shipment representative sample storage duration at the HGL facility is 6 months.
VI. ALLERGEN STATEMENT
The cashew is an allergen. The product is free from any other allergens and is processed in a dedicated line thereby by avoiding any risk of contamination.
VII. GMO STATEMENT
The product is not GMO
VIII. IRRADIATION STATEMENT
There is no purposeful irradiation done to the product.
IX. PESTICIDE STATEMENT
It is our endeavor to comply with the regulations of the destination market. We screen and test extensively in an attempt to ensure product is within the MRL range. The contract supersedes this statement.
X. PACKING
The finished product is packed in vacuumed PE bags in cartons or Tin box-cartons depending on customer requirement. All cartons shall be clearly marked with the following:
1. Name of the product and trade name or brand name, if any
2. Name and address of producer or packer
3. Grade
4. Net weight
5. Country of Origin
6. Buyer’s name or marks
7. Destination.
8. Other marks agreed to by buyer and seller.
Lot number or production code shall be marked legibly on the outside of the cartons, in accordance with the laws of the country of destination.
